A humanistic convivial community of a humanistic Medici village, dedicated to developing convivial, social and cultural relationships, is based on the central values of the new Medici humanism, such as beauty, libertas, nobilitas, humanitas and reason. This community intends to promote an environment of cultural exchange, dialogue and sharing, where art, music, gastronomy and knowledge intertwine to create an integral humanistic experience, based on conviviality and collective growth.
One of the tasks of the Humanistic Vicar or the Humanistic Civic Council is to create a humanistic convivial community in the Borgo where he resides.
Description of the Medicean Humanistic Convivial Community
1. Creation of Convivial and Cultural Spaces Inspired by Humanistic Values
- The community is committed to creating a space that encourages encounters between people, inspired by the Medici humanistic values. The Medici humanistic circle will be a place where art, music and gastronomy blend in harmony, with the aim of promoting aesthetic beauty, freedom of expression, dialogue between traditions and shared humanity.
- The events organized will reflect these values, with particular attention to the promotion of beauty, not only aesthetic, but also social, creating a harmonious and welcoming environment for all members of the community.
2. Plurilateral Agreement with the Municipality and Local Artists
- The community intends to enter into a multilateral agreement with the Municipality for the free or semi-free loan of a municipal building to be used as a cultural and recreational club. This space will be dedicated to convivial activities, musical, artistic and cultural events, and will be the venue for hosting meetings with local artists, scholars and musicians.
- Local artists and scholars who are members of the community will commit to providing a daily program of shows, cultural events, special lunches and dinners that integrate gastronomy with the arts, offering an enriching convivial and cultural experience.
3. Organization of Cultural and Convivial Events
- Within the Medicean Humanistic Circle, cultural events will be held regularly, including concerts, exhibitions, theatrical performances, conferences and debates, with the active participation of local artists, scholars and musicians. These events will aim to stimulate cultural dialogue, promote the arts and enrich the social life of the village.
- Special lunches and dinners will be organized daily, where local cuisine will be the protagonist.
